I have a horrible summer cold and needed something bright to help me feel better. So I used OPI base coat, L.A. Colors color craze Perfect Sunset, sponged on L.A. Colors color craze Seashell, and topped it with OPI top coat to brighten my day.

Pretty sure I got this cold after spending this last weekend in Seattle. But I had a great time. My Hubby and I spent the night at we had a great view of the water and . It was an awesome weekend get away. A nice break from the pups though Bailey wanted me to pack her. Our daughter took care of the pups for us.

Sally Hansen HD

This is Sally Hansen HD Spectrum. This polish is so pretty the picture just doesn't capture it well. I used two coats but really could have used another because you can still see the nail line a little. Sorry for the uneven nails I had one break not long ago and the thumbnail has a tear in it. Just part of life it happens now and then. I used bm17 with konad special black polish in the top picture.

My oldest daughter wanted to know if I had tried Sally Hansen complete Salon Manicure yet so I picked some up. I used a base polish to protect my nails from stains. So I started with O.P.I. Natural Base Coat then used two coats of Sally Hansen complete Salon Manicure Lagoon.
I have mixed feelings about the brush but Love the color. I like the way the nail polish went on but now after looking at it I can see some bubbles and brush strokes.

I used OPI natural nail base coat, L.A. Colors Color Craze Palm Tree, Konad Special Polish Black, plate m9, seche vite dry fast top coat. The Color Craze Palm Tree came in a special package deal sold at Fred Meyer which included some other polishes. I wish now I had bought two packages as I do not see this polish being sold anywhere else. When I checked back at Fred Meyer they had all been sold.

Ok so we have figured out how to get pictures and watermark them. Great! So soon I might actually venture out into the follower's world. For now I am still keeping to myself. I actually visit many nail blogs everyday so my next step will be learning how to add those here.
My 4th of July marble came out ok. This was my second try at doing a marble and I learned alot. First and most I learned I really love chapstick, lol. Using chapstick on my finger really helped clean up. I tried painters tape, and scotch tape but then said sqrew it and stuck with just chapstick. So if I do another marble just going to use chapstick. Tape was just to darn awkward. And chapstick works wonderfully.
